Why 'Mentorship'?

DSC09987.jpg

Progressive Learning

Yoga has become diluted and water down by modern day attempts to package and commodify ancient teachings. In MENTORSHIP we approach learning in the more traditional ways -- slow, progressive stages building on prior developments to ensure that what is learned is kept so that the teachings can be passed on.

Systematic Sadhana

Instead of haphazardly adopting many techniques and only scratching the surface, we thoroughly investigate foundational practices of Hatha Yoga in a systematic way to bring gradual purification to one's physiology and therefore lasting changes to the psyche.

Integration & Embodiment

The journey of self-discovery and self-mastery through Yoga is lifelong. One cannot force themselves beyond the level that they are at, but rather must work with the energies that present in each moment. The practices & teachings become deeply integrated allies and tools in our back pocket, useful for ongoing transformation and, ultimately, our life path.
